What is the CDF?
The CDF is the interest bearing capital fund conducted by the Catholic
Archdiocese of Perth, established to enable Church organisations to make
the most of their financial resources and help fund growth.
The security of your deposit is our highest priority. All deposits are guaranteed by the
assets of the Archdiocese of Perth and earn a competitive rate of
interest. Money invested with CDF is used to provide loans to fund new
facilities or refurbish existing buildings for education, worship and
other needs of the Church.
Loans in excess of $100 million have funded over 300 capital projects in
the Archdiocese of Perth and represent a fine gesture by parishioners who
are in a position to respond to the needs of our church...

Why invest with the CDF?
Established by the Archbishop of Perth in 1974, the Catholic Development
Fund (CDF) has offered the Catholic Community the opportunity to invest
and in doing so, play a significant role in supporting the mission of the
Church. The pooling of financial resources has saved tens of thousands of
dollars in interest payments on Catholic capital projects. When investing
with CDF you can be secure in the knowledge that you are helping the
Catholic Church and that your family and parish will also benefit from
your investment.

The Triquetra and Circle
|
|
Many organisations are
more easily recognised by their logo or sign than by their name,
especially when that sign is particularly relevant to the organisations
activities.
In the case of the CDF, our sign has received unanimous approval since its
introduction.
|
Representing
the Blessed Trinity and Eternity, producing a figure recalling several
spiritual truths.
The Triquetra is a symmetrical ornament formed of three interlaced arcs or
leaves bounded by the circle, reminding us of the three persons in one God.
Overall the Symbol represents unity.
